Regeneration of Coinagehall Street and St. Anthony’s Gardens, Penzance

Treveth is currently working with Penzance Town Council to regenerate the Coinagehall Street area and St. Anthony’s Gardens in Penzance, funded by the Future High Streets Fund as part of the Government’s Towns Fund initiative. The project will see Treveth bring forward much-needed new homes for local people (including affordable and open market rentals) and will enhance community spaces. 

Key historical features will be retained whilst providing a better public realm and useable open space. Treveth has completed three public consultation events and is now preparing to submit its planning application. 

New homes for North Hill, Blackwater

Treveth’s planning application to bring 32 new bungalows to land at North Hill, Blackwater, is currently going through the planning system. We have proposed a mix of affordable rent, shared ownership, and discount sale homes in addition to several open market and private rental homes to meet the demand for new homes for Cornish people. 

The site is in an excellent location close to Blackwater village centre, and benefits from easy access to local amenities and public footpaths. Our plans incorporate areas of open space designed to encourage biodiversity, and a central ‘village green’ has been proposed.

New homes for Bedowan Meadows, Newquay

We’re pleased to announce that Treveth has received approval from Cornwall Council on detailed planning consent for 50 new homes at Bedowan Meadows, Newquay. We received approval by the planning committee on 31st July 2023 with members voting 10 to one in favour of the development. 

The Bedowan Meadows site will include 17 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership, 21 homes for open market rent and 12 homes for open market sale. A mix of one and two bedroom flats, one, two and three bedroom bungalows and two, three and four bedroom houses will be available with good connections to Newquay town centre.

Coming soon: 40 new homes to Connor Downs

Outline planning permission has been granted to Treveth by Cornwall Council to bring forward a new affordable led housing scheme to the village of Connor Downs in West Cornwall. 

Located at Angarrack Lane, local people with a Cornish connection through residency, employment, or close family, will have access to up to 40 high-quality, sustainable new homes. 

A programme of work and designs for the scheme are currently in development, and we are engaging closely with the local community during this process.

Planning application for Bodmin commercial scheme

We’re pleased to announce that Treveth has submitted a planning application for a 918 sqm commercial scheme at Normandy Way, Bodmin.

This speculative scheme will consist of eight industrial units with floor areas ranging from 86 sqm to 165 sqm. Located close to the commuter routes of the A30 and the A38, each double height unit at Normandy Way will be available to rent or purchase.
